'Verdana' is a common font that can be downloaded from:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/corefonts/verdan32.exe?download

The font is readily available on machines with a Microsoft
operating system and can be downloaded on non MS-machines
(check the documentation for this).

The wrapper provides a T1 encoded font.
No effort has been spent on making the font ready for use in
math expressions. If anyone wants to take this on, please
let me know.

The package has an option 'nofligs' to avoid f-ligature
problems with the more recent Verdana versions (v2008 and
v2010).

This distribution comprises:

* the TeX and Adobe font metrics,

* the LaTeX macro package verdana.sty and the related font
  definition file

The distribution does not comprise:

* the TTF files themselves;
  You can download them from:
  http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/corefonts/verdan32.exe?download

To install, move all files to the corresponding directories
of your TeX system.

Documentation regarding the use of the fonts can be found in
the document verdana.pdf.
